I've been wanting to try this place for a while based on social media hearsay, and I'm glad I finally did! We had a lovely lunch here today. The decor is rustic and charming, and service and waitstaff were prompt, friendly and attentive. Everything we had was good and the ingredients tasted very fresh. The only picture I remembered to take was of our desert (we had the flan), which was moist and not too heavy. I plan to return to try their brunch next.

Came here for a bit of a reunion with some friends, and we occupied a table for a very long time without being bothered or pushed out. In fact, the manager, Mike, comped us some carrot cake after my friend shared that he had just returned from his honeymoon. The cake was incredible--lots of candied nuts and classic icing where you can taste the tang of the cream cheese and it's not too sweet. The cheese curds were the other highlight of the meal; they come served in the kind of bowls French onion soup is classically served in (charming).

I visited Blue Door Farm Stand with my daughters and her roommate on a Wednesday in Lincoln Park. Although we arrived late and the kitchen was about to close, the manager, chef and waitress kept the restaurant open and we were treated to the most delicious meal. The atmosphere, food, wine and service were outstanding and we will be back. Thank you to everyone for making this such a memorable evening.
